The Town adopted the following building codes in March 2005;
- International Residential Building Code (IRC) 2000
- International Plumbing Code (IPC) 2000
- International Mechanical Code (IMC) 2003
- National Electrical Code (NEC) (NFPA 70) 2005
- National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) 2002
All interior gas piping shall be black iron pipe.
