BOAT REGISTRATION
NEW BOAT REGISTRATION: You will need a Bill of Sale or Purchase and Sales Agreement. It must include name and signature of the seller and buyer, HIN of the vessel and if it’s a NH vessel, the NH Bow number, and the description of the vessel with year, make, model, type, color.
AND a previous registration signed over to the new owner
OR a Title/Certificate of Origin/Manufacturers Certificate of Origin
OR a Receipt of Purchase from MAJOR retail store.
RENEWAL: You will need the previous years’ registration, or the State issued pre-printed renewal form. If someone other than the owner is renewing the registration, they MUST have the State issued pre-printed renewal form with the owners’ signature.
TRANSFERS: Same paperwork necessary as “NEW BOAT REGISTRATION” and the current registration of the boat from which you are transferring.
As with vehicle registrations, you may pay with cash or two (2) checks. If you have any questions, please call (603) 382-4096 Ext. 12.
