Building Maintenance
Julie Fontaine and Dionne McKay of Timberland Company in Stratham, NH, most generously donated time and materials in observance of Earth Day. The grounds were raked and mulched, along with plantings to give the library an appreciated lift.
Keane Fire & Safety conducted an annual check of the three fire extinguishers within the library.
Road Agent, Michael Pivero, was contacted for assistance regarding a large crack that is on the front walkway. Michael installed three wheel stops in the rear parking lot to prevent patrons from backing into the vinyl siding.
An estimate was obtained from Tamarack Tree Service regarding dead limbs that overhang the rear parking area. There has been one incident in which damage has occurred to a staff member’s car while parking near the tree. Information on this subject has been forwarded to the Selectmen for their consideration.
Screens have been installed for the warmer months.
Andrew Morse installed five air conditioners on both levels of the library. His assistance is greatly appreciated.
