After you receive your final tax bill of the year (Nov/Dec), you may appeal the assessment to the Assessor/Selectmen in writing by March 1st of the following year. Forms may be obtained from the Assessor and/or the Selectmen's Office or you can obtain it by going to the State of New Hampshire website at www.nh.gov/btla and click the "Forms" link on the left side of the screen and then select Abatement Application to Municipality. This will allow you to print the form, which you can then fill out and submit to the Selectmen's Office by March 1st.
