The Stewardship Committee functions as a monitor for the easements held by the town. The Committee is the liaison between the Town (Board of Selectmen) and the property owner. Each year the properties under easement are inspected and a report is sent to the Selectmen and Holders of Interest.
Currently, the only easement is that on Hidden Acres at 42 Thornell Road. There is a conservation easement on the open space of the farm and an historical easement on the exterior of the large barn, milkroom and house.
Site walks as well as the annual meeting are posted and the public is welcome to join them.
