All are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. as we welcome local mystery writer, Edith Maxwell, from Amesbury, MA for a Writing Historical Mysteries presentation.

As part of her Quaker Midwife Mystery Series, Delivering the Truth, is the first in the series and is now available for checkout at the circulation desk.  This book title will also be discussed at the May 21 Evening Book Group at 6:00 p.m.

Edith enjoys writing and will share the kinds of research she does in her New England based historical books.  She is a Macavity and Agatha-nominated author and is active in the New England chapter of Sisters in Crime.

The third book of the Quaker Midwife Mysteries Series is titled, Turning the Tide, and will be released in April 2018.
