Looking to re-stock your bookshelves for spring and summer? The Friends of the Gale Library pulled out a variety of books for a small Spring Book Sale inside the Gale Library this April. Come by the library any time we’re open and fill a bag with books, CDs, and DVDs for $3.00 per bag. Forgot to bring a bag? We have some available at the library!

Are you or someone you know missing a bike? A bicycle was left locked at the Gale Library bike rack a few months ago. Please spread the word and help us to find the owner! The bike will be removed soon if the owner does not come back for it. Photos of the bike are available on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Our weekly Storytime regularly meets on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. Storytime will not be meeting on April 25th, during school vacation week, so the Youth Room can be available for all patrons to use. We would be delighted to have you come for a visit anytime during school vacation and check out our growing collection of titles, activity kits, and our new Craft Cart!

Our next Movie Morning is Saturday, April 29th at 10 a.m. This month’s movie adapts a beloved children’s book character. Can you guess which one? He is a lovably mischievous cardigan-wearing bunny who enjoys pilfering his sustenance from the yard of a cranky gardener. We will have snacks & crafts, too. Contact the library for more details.

Have you purchased your raffle ticket for a chance (or two or three or more!) to win the beautiful handmade quilt by Newton’s very own, very talented Carol Szot? Quilt Raffle tickets are on sale at the Gale Library for $5 each or 3 for $10. The drawing will be pulled on May 26th. Stop by the library or visit our Facebook or Instagram page to see this beautiful quilt!

Come in and visit us Monday 12-6, Tuesday 9-1, Wednesday 12-8, Friday 9-3, or Saturday 9-1. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram at @GaleLibrary, and visit our website www.galelibrary.org for more!
