Wonders of the Ocean at the Gale Library

Summer hasn’t ended at the Gale Library! Come find out about the wonders of the ocean when the Seacoast Science Center and the Gale Library bring you Coastal Critters on Monday, August 28 at 6 PM.

How does a sea star eat? Where do urchins live? Why do snails have “trap doors?” Learn about the rocky shore habitat and the animals that live there. You’ll be able to observe and hold live animals and find out how rocky shore plants and animals adapt to life in a habitat with constantly changing tides, salinity, and temperature.

The Seacoast Science Center is celebrating 25 years of providing exceptional marine and environmental education in Odiorne Point State Park.

The Gale Library also offers tickets to the Center at discounted prices, thanks to the Friends of the Library.
