Gale Library News Update as of June 14, 2021
The Gale Library will be open for public visits without an appointment beginning on Monday, June 14. The scheduled hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 12-6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please note the following guidelines.
- Mandatory mask required unless you have a medical condition preventing you from wearing one or are fully vaccinated. Masks will be provided by the Library should you need one.
- Social distancing of 3’ is required.
- Please use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building.
- Place all returns in the book drop box on the front porch.
- Computer, fax and copier use is available with limited access for up to 30 minutes per visit.
- A maximum of 6 visitors will be allowed in the Library at any one time. To enter the building, please ring the doorbell at either entrance during open hours.
- Curbside service will continue to be offered.
- If you aren’t feeling well, please stay home. Thank you!

We subscribe to Ancestry Library Edition: http://ancestrylibrary.com for genealogical research.
Kanopy Streaming
Patrons can enjoy free films (including Kanopy Kids) by signing in with their Kanopy account and library cards on this site: https://galelibrary.kanopy.com/
You will need to set up an account for email address and a password to log in.
Free Online Creativebug Crafting Resource
The Gale Library offers an exciting crafting resource for library patrons. Creativebug is an electronic database that focuses on arts and crafts. These are professional, instructor led classes covering categories such as sewing, knitting, painting, jewelry making, kids’ crafts and much more. To access the website, please visit: https://www.creativebug.com/lib/gale-library and enter your library card number to create your account. Lots of great ideas to learn new skills and create your own works of art!
