Planning your summer activities? Visit the Children’s Museum of NH, the Bedrock Gardens, or the USS Constitution Museum for free or half-price admission with museum passes from the Gale Library.
The Children’s Museum of NH is located in Dover, NH and is filled with lots of fun, interactive experiences for children from birth to 12 years old. Receive 50% off admission for up to 4 people with our museum pass.
Bedrock Gardens is a 30-acre site in Lee, NH that is transitioning from a historic farm and private garden to a public garden with unique flowers & sculptures. The Boston Globe has described it as "one of the most beautiful and intriguing landscapes in New Hampshire." Visit Bedrock Gardens with free admission for up to 2 adults plus children and grandchildren.
The USS Constitution Museum is located in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard on Boston’s Freedom Trail. The USS Constitution was never defeated in battle and is the world’s oldest ship still afloat (first launched in 1797). As you plan your visit, consider visiting the USS Constitution, too! The ship is owned by the U.S. Navy and is available for public tours most days of the week. Enjoy the museum’s collections and interactive exhibits, plus board the ship itself! Museum passes provide free admission for up to 9 people.

Join us Saturday, June 17th for a Drop-In Craft Day to make dad or granddad a one-of-a-kind keychain for Father’s Day. Come to the Youth Room any time between 10 and 12 to make your gift!
Save the Date! Summer Reading programs for all ages begin on June 21st! All participants will track books or minutes (depending on their age) to earn raffle tickets and prizes. We’ll also have a mosaic puzzle poster this year. Every time you visit the library, you can add colorful square-shaped stickers to our poster. As we add more stickers, we’ll begin to see the hidden image. Stay tuned for more information about Summer Reading!
