Discounts for Family Fun!

The Friends of the Gale Library have once again generously purchased discounted passes to the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH.

The Seacoast Science Center (SSC) is now using an online ticketing platform.  Pass holders should purchase tickets in advance to ensure entry due to limited capacity and scheduled visitation.

Library Member Pass Holders are eligible for half-price SSC admission.  Library Member Pass Holders are required to pay NH State Parks use fee.*

SSC Admission prices with pass are as follows:

Ages 12-64:  $5; Ages 3-11: $2.50; Ages 0-2: Free

Odiorne Point State Park fee:

Ages 12 +: $4; Ages 6-11: $2; NH Seniors (65+): Free; NH State Park License Plate: Free

Tickets:  Go to www.seacoastsciencecenter.org

-Click on the blue Admissions Ticket button

-Click on the first box that says Admission Ticket

-In the new window, choose the Pass Holder Admission option.

-Click on the date of desired visit on the booking calendar.

-Choose the desired entry time and number of tickets per age category.

If a time slot is FULL, please choose another time or date.

-For each ticket chosen, select:

-Member or Pass Holder:  select Pass Holder

--Type of Pass: Library

-Name of Library: Type the name of your Library

All online ticketing transactions include a small processing fee.

Patrons will receive an email confirmation that will serve as their ticket for entry into Odiorne Point State Park and Seacoast Science Center.  A reminder email will be sent 24 hours before their visit.

Library Pass Holders (paper or electronic) are required to show their pass when they check in.

Patrons without computer access or credit card may call Seacoast Science Center to book their visit: 603-436-8043.

Patrons are advised to familiarize themselves with current safety guidelines before their visit.

Open Library Hours in April

Updated open hours will begin in April to include Monday (12-6); Tuesday (9-1) Wednesday (12-8); Friday (9-3) and Saturday (9-1).

National Library Week (April 3-9)

This year’s National Library Week theme is Connect With Your Library.  If you haven’t received your Library Card, this is a perfect time to stop by receive a new card or perhaps replace one that may be lost.  We also welcome the community to share their sentiments as to what they love about the Library.  Heart-shaped notes are available to write a short note to include on the bulletin board display.  We look forward to seeing you at your next visit!
