Thanksgiving Closures: The Gale library will close at 4pm on Wednesday Nov 23. and will be closed on Friday Nov 26. in celebration of Thanksgiving. We will be back in the building on Saturday Nov 27. from 9-1pm!
November Non-Perishable Pantry Items Collection: During the month of November the Friends of the Gale Library would like to request donations of non-perishable pantry items for those in need. Please drop donations at the Library and we will deliver to the Town Hall to help stock the Food Pantry shelves. We thank you for your support and generosity.
Christmas Raffle Basket: Tickets Now On Sale! The Friends of the Gale Library have assembled a fabulous Family Christmas Basket! Tickets for the raffle are now on sale for $1.00 each or 6/$5.00. The drawing will be held on Wednesday, December 15. Lots of great gift cards and gifts!
UPDATED OPEN HOURS: The Gale Library doors are now open during the following hours. Monday and Wednesday 12-6, Tuesday and Saturday 9-1, and Friday 9-3. If you aren't feeling well, please stay home. Thank you!
Adult Craft Kit... More coming in December! Our adult craft kits have been a huge success so we're working on weekly adult craft kits for next month! A new kit will be available for each week of December and will include Christmas Gnomes, Santa Pants Plant Pots, Decorative Christmas Trees and Pom-Pom Book Marks. These adult craft kits are extremely popular, so if you want to make sure you get one, please call or email the library and we will put one aside for you! While supplies last! Please take one per adult and feel free to post a picture of your finished craft on our Facebook Page!

FOR THE CHILDREN:
Saturday December 4th, 10am: Its Decoration Day! Join us in the children’s room from 10am-12pm where we will be decorating the Christmas tree, frosting Christmas cookies and creating Christmas Crafts. No sign up necessary, just pop on over!
Tuesday's at 10am, Preschool Story Time: Join us in person every Tuesday at 10am for preschool story time! Miss. Hayley will read a collection of stories, sing some songs and we'll even have our themed craft kits to take home. Space in the children's room is limited so please call in advance to sign up!
Wednesday’s from 4:30 – 5:30pm, Harry Potter Club! Do you love Harry Potter? We do too! Join us in the children's room every Wednesday at 4:30 as we read aloud the first book 'The Sorcerer’s Stone'. We'll also make some awesome Harry Potter style crafts. This is a drop off program suitable for ages 8+. Craft Kit Pick Up: Stop by the library and pick up your craft kit. There are two crafts to make at home, coloring pages and a puzzle to challenge you! New kits are put out each Tuesday... while supplies last!
1000 Books Before Kindergarten: The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes, you can repeat books) before your little one starts kindergarten.
