National Friends of Libraries Week, Thank you Friends! National Friends of Libraries Week (Oct.17-23.) promotes groups who support libraries across the country, focusing on the third week in October each year. We celebrate our wonderful Friends here at the Gale Library and are truly grateful for their continued support and hard work… Thank you all so much!

November Non-Perishable Pantry Items Collection:  During the month of November the Friends of the Gale Library would like to request donations of non-perishable pantry items for those in need.  Please drop donations at the Library and we will deliver to the Town Hall to help stock the Food Pantry shelves. We thank you for your support and generosity.

UPDATED OPEN HOURS: The Gale Library doors are now open during the following hours. Monday and Wednesday 12-6, Tuesday and Saturday 9-1, and Friday 9-3.  If you aren't feeling well, please stay home. Thank you!

Adult Craft Kit... Stay tuned for news of November's Craft Kit! The Cupcake Wrapper Wreaths were a huge success and have already all been taken! Please look out for November's Thanksgiving Themed Craft Kit which will be available soon!

Tuesday's at 10am, Outdoor Preschool Story Time: Join us in person every Tuesday at 10am for preschool story time! Miss. Hayley will read a collection of stories, sing some songs and we'll even have our themed craft kits to take home. Space in the children's room is limited so please call in advance to sign up! 603-382-4691

Wednesday’s from 4:30 – 5:30pm, Harry Potter Club! Do you love Harry Potter? We do too! Join us in the children's room every Wednesday from Oct 6 as we read aloud the first book 'The Sorcerer’s Stone'. We'll also make some awesome Harry Potter style crafts… Dragon Egg Terrariums, Magic Wands, Floating Candles, and much more. This is a drop off program suitable for ages 8+. Craft Kit Pick Up: Stop by the library and pick up your craft kit. There are two crafts to make at home, coloring pages and a puzzle to challenge you! New kits are put out each Tuesday... while supplies last!

1000 Books Before Kindergarten: The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless.  Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes, you can repeat books) before your little one starts kindergarten.
