Join Gale Library for a Trashion Show!

Yes! You read that right, a trashion show! During the holiday season there is so much waste produced from all those beautifully and thoughtfully wrapped packages and we were wondering if there was a fun way to repurpose those things – so we came up with a “Trashion Show.”

Here is the idea; save your used paper, ribbon, even boxes and recreate them into skirts, ties, hats…any type of fashion piece you can imagine. Then join us on Wed., December 27 at 6 p.m. to show off your creation!

On Tues., December 26 you can join us any time between the hours of 9 a.m. — 1 p.m. to work on your item. We will have glue, glue guns, scissors, staples/staplers and tape available as well as a few materials that you can include in creating your very own trashion fashion.

If anyone would like to donate their used paper and ribbon, feel free to drop it off the morning of Tues., December 26.

This program is open to all ages, people can choose to work individually or as a team to create something wonderfully recycled.
