Summer Reading Fun at Gale Library

Come join us for our Annual Children’s Talent Show either as a participant or to cheer them on. Can you sing, dance, do karate, gymnastics, magic tricks, tell jokes? Can you hula hoop, juggle, jumprope, lead a cheer, use a yo-yo, either solo or with a friend? We love and clap for all talent on Monday, July 29 at 6:30 PM.

Learn tips, techniques, and lots of styles to braid with Out of This World Braiding with Cait on Wednesday, July 31 at 6:00 PM. This program is open to all ages, adult, teen, children. Bring your own hair twisties, combs, brushes and bobby pins.

Learn the true story of the Eastern Coyote on Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 PM – how and when it arrived in New England, how it lives among us but is rarely seen and how it contributes to keep our forests and fields healthy. Learn why it is a creature of our own making!  It is smart, beneficial and by its presence, gives “wild” back to our wild lands.  This New Wild also requires that livestock and pet owners step up to steward our creatures with greater care. Despite the ecological benefits the coyote brings, it is the most persecuted carnivore in North America.  Yet, it survives and thrives despite efforts to eradicate it.
