Thank you to all who helped NEWTON OLDE HOME DAY!

Newton's Olde Home Day was a success with the help of many organizations. Thank you to sponsors Larson Tax Service, Acio's, What's the Scoop, the Democratic Committee, Terex, McKinney Artesian Pump and Well, Knights of Columbus, Kingston Volunteer Fire Association, and Country Pond Fish & Game Club.

Music Everyone enjoyed listening to day-long music by Mark Holmes, One and Done, DeAngelis Music Studio, Autumn Sol Revival and Tin Palace.

Classic cars and motorcycles were a hit.  Attendees chose Paul Cavallaro's 1956 Ford 100 and Mike Nickerson's 1991 Nissan Figaro for Blue Ribbons that day. Roland Slabon displayed his R 67/2 BMW from Germany. The Show was a success thanks to volunteers Joe Maggio, Caden Streeter, Gerry and Lynda Quatrale, Matt Hatch and Peggy Connors.

Raffle prizes donated from local organizations were on display all day thanks to Volunteers Lana Matthews, Donna Hall, Cindy Gibbons, Marion Cipollein, Sue Mears and Christine Kuzmitski. 

All Day volunteers worked to give everyone a good time. Thanks to High School Key Club Members Summer Campbell and Jennifer Alley-Violette; set-up crew David Simpson, John Healey and Steve Healey; Newton Police Department; Newton Fire Department, Bob Zalenski; Selectman Bob Marchand, Selectman Mike Connolly, and Selectman Matt Burrill.

The Recreation Commission thanks all who helped and attended to make a memorable day for Newton.
