Newton Tree Lighting

Let the holiday fun begin! Newton will be holding a fun tree lighting evening on December 3, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., at the Newton Historical Building, 22 South Main Street.

Thanks to John Silvia, the huge tree will be decorated with colorful lights. There will be hot chocolate, snacks and candy canes. To make the evening more festive, the Recreation Commission will be handing out temporary holiday tattoos, glow sticks and ornaments that can be personalized and hung on the tree. Of course, there will be holiday music.

We would appreciate donations of non-perishable items for the Newton Food Pantry and/or unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.
