Veterans Day Commemoration
Newton will hold a commemoration for Veterans Day on November 11, at 8 Merrimac Road. The gathering will begin at 10:30 a.m., when coffee and doughnuts will be served in the Newton Fire Station cafeteria.
At 11:00 a.m., we will gather by the flag in front of the Newton Police Station. Town officials, clergy and Veterans will present the Honors. Adele O'Leary will sing the Star-Spangled Banner, and an ensemble from Sanborn Regional High School will play patriotic music.
